I've had this post in drafts since returning from Chicago over a week ago...
Many of my friends have posted beautiful blog posts about their experiences at ALA and at the Newbery Caldecott Wilder banquet.
My words will pale in comparison.
Suffice it to say that attending the banquet was the highlight of my trip to Chicago and ALA.
Memorable.
Moving.
Magnificent.
