Dear blog,

I still love you...really...I do. I have many, many ideas that I want to share with you, but I'm having a few issues.

It started with returning to school which always knocks me for a loop the first few frantic weeks.  Then I decided to tangle with a really big knife this weekend in the kitchen. (News flash: the knife won.) The price of that is going to be surgery on my foot. 

So I may soon have a wee bit of time to read and perhaps write a bit too.  Until then, know that I'm thinking of you fondly and hoping to fill your digital pages with thoughts about this school year, my new students, and wonderful books.
